Penalties
Penalties are received if you have been found guilty of an offence, or if you are pleading guilty. If you are pleading guilty, you can expect to receive a lighter penalty than if you were found guilty having defended and lost a charge. However this should not influence your decision (as to whether you should plead guilty or not guilty), but it is a factor that you should be mindful off.
